Mr. Schwartz joined Haley Stuart in 2004 and has since helped successfully bring together the companies in the Haley Stuart Group. Mr. Schwartz’s experience has been integral in driving the Haley Stuart Group’s growth while maintaining its standards of excellence. Prior to joining Haley Stuart, he served as EVP and COO at Headway Corporate Resources, and was responsible for overall corporate service delivery, strategic account operations, and system development. He was previously named one of the Top 40 Most Powerful Executives under 40 years old in the Staffing Industry by Recruiter magazine.
Jamie began his career in the staffing industry as director of technology for New York’s then-largest full-service staffing firm, Irene Cohen Temps. Jamie earned his BA in economics from University of Rochester and his MBA in operations and finance from that university’s William E. Simon Graduate School of Business Administration.
A board member of the NJSA, Mr. Schwartz also holds both CPC (Certified Personnel Consultant) and CTS (Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist) certifications.
Ms. Weiner joined Haley Stuart in 2004 to oversee the service delivery of Haley Stuart’s contract staffing division. Her role has since been expanded and become critical to the operations and success of the companies in the Haley Stuart Group. She began her career as an HR recruiter for a large restaurant and real estate corporation, and later entered the staffing industry where she held progressively senior roles with Headway Corporate Resources, one of the country’s largest general staffing firms.
Her tenure of 17 years with that firm culminated with her serving as the vice president of operations for its New York office. She was responsible for the overall service delivery to some of NYC’s largest organizations, including Fortune 500 members, law firms, nonprofits and universities.
Ms. Weiner is an active committee member of the Women Presidents’ Educational Organization and the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council as well as holds a CTS (Certified Temporary-Staffing Specialist) certification.
Ms. Berthold’s experience as “the client” gives her a unique perspective on staffing for the legal industry. After graduating from Berkeley College, Ms. Berthold joined the law firm of Shanley & Fisher (now known as Drinker, Biddle & Reath). She served as the firm’s director of attorney recruitment for nearly a decade, where she was responsible for all aspects of lateral and summer associate attorney hiring, performance reviews and professional development.
Upon joining the Haley Stuart Group in 1999, Ms. Berthold and her team quickly became the premier source for partner and group placement, mergers & acquisitions, associate placement, as well as corporate counsel to general counsel in the New York metropolitan area marketplace.
Throughout the years, the client base has grown to include regional and national law firms in their offices around the world, as well as Fortune 500 companies in their quest for in-house counsel.
Ms. Shelby brings a wealth of experience in the corporate world to her role as Vice President of the Creative division at Haley Stuart Group. Her background includes brand management at Pepsico/Quaker Oats and Merck/Schering Plough, as well as advertising at Ogilvy & Mather, San Francisco.
In 1996, Ms. Shelby co-founded the creative staffing firm, FlexTime Solutions, and led the company as President before joining HSG in 2010. She has in-depth knowledge of marketing, design, communications and interactive positions which make her an ideal staffing consultant to her corporate clients.
Ms. Shelby holds an MBA in marketing from the University of California, Berkeley, and a BA in Piano Performance from Notre Dame de Namur University. She grew up in California but loves the NY metro area and all the East coast has to offer.
Senior Recruiting Consultant
Rebecca Finkler, a former practicing attorney, has consistently been recognized as a top recruiter throughout her 19+ years with the Haley Stuart Group. Rebecca credits her success with being an “active listener” who enjoys finding the “right fit” for her attorneys. She specializes in the placement of partners and attorneys internationally, nationally and locally, in law firms and corporations.
Rebecca graduated from Albany Law School, Union University, and she is on retired status from the NY and CT Bars. She majored in Spanish Literature, with a minor in English, at the State University of New York at Albany.
Rebecca’s outside interests include spending time with her family and 2 rescue dogs (Eli and Peyton) as well as exercising at 5 am before her telephone starts ringing.
Senior Staffing Manager
Ms. Kurtz's experience includes over fifteen years as an in-house corporate recruiter for several major service and manufacturing organizations in New Jersey. In these roles, she was responsible for recruiting for a variety of positions including customer service, marketing, human resources, procurement, legal and supply chain.
After joining the Haley Stuart Group in 2014, Ms. Kurtz has focused on recruiting for marketing consultants for major pharmaceutical and financial services organizations as well as all non-attorney positions for local and national law firms. She prides herself on building excellent relationships with clients and candidates to ensure the best outcome for all parties involved.
Ms. Kurtz is a volunteer for the American Cancer Society where she raises funds for their annual Relay for Life Event. She holds a BS Degree from Cornell University and lives in New Jersey with her husband, son and two Devon Rex cats.
Business Development Associate
Ms. LaMonica joined the Haley Stuart Group in 2019, bringing with her extensive experience building and nurturing long-term, prosperous client relationships. As Business Development Associate, Ms. LaMonica will partner with both new and established clients across all of our divisions to identify, address and solve their staffing challenges.
Over the course of her career, Ms LaMonica has worked in diverse business fields including marketing services, advertising, publishing, media and real estate. Her proven skills in developing productive, relationship-oriented communication styles, effectively problem-solving and providing outstanding customer service skills are a welcome addition to the Haley Stuart Team1
Ms. LaMonica is a proud New Jersey native, and when she is not working with clients, avidly pursues hobbies which include bodybuilding, meditation, hot yoga, as well as spending time with “Blue”, her Australian Shepherd dog.
Operations & Benefits Manager
Ms. Mackiewicz brings considerable knowledge of the staffing industry to her role as Operations and Benefits Manager for the Haley Stuart Group. After graduating from the College of New Jersey with a BA in Communications, she entered the recruiting field and worked for over 20 years at such well-known firms as Leafstone Staffing, Spherion, Paine Webber and UBS Financial Services.
Ms. Mackiewicz joined Haley Stuart Group in 2008 as a recruiter but quickly transitioned to the operations side of the business. Her broad knowledge of accounting, benefits, office administration, facilities and event planning has been put to good use as Operations and Benefits Manager, and she can usually answer any question put to her.
Ms. Mackiewicz lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children. In her spare time, she can be found volunteering, chaperoning and otherwise contributing to fundraising, summer camps and other events for her children’s band and sports programs.
Ms. Joseph has extensive experience in office operations, having worked with both large and small companies in New Jersey and New York City over the past 25 years. Her various roles have included Payroll Administration, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, collections and employee benefits and administration.
Ms. Joseph joined the Haley Stuart Group in 2015 and is currently responsible for timesheet processing and payroll administration at the company. She also manages invoicing and Accounts Receivable activity for all three divisions. Ms. Joseph prides herself on managing lots of detail with a high degree of accuracy, and as a result has a great reputation for ensuring employee satisfaction.
Ms. Joseph holds a BS degree in Marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University and, when she’s not wrestling with spreadsheets and numbers, loves to garden.
